There are currently several large measles outbreaks in Europe with the worst affected countries being Romania and Italy. Within NW England a number of confirmed cases have been diagnosed in the Lancaster and East Lancashire area.Measles cases in the UK are likely to increase over the summer months due to increased travel to Europe over this period.
People who have not been vaccinated with 2 doses of MMR vaccine are more likely to catch this disease.

What is the CQC?

About the Practice

The partners in The Richmond Hill practice hold a contract with Care Commissioning Group to provide general medical services.  The practice are committed to giving you the best possible service and we believe this will best be achieved by working together.  A team of other professional and clerical staff, whose duties are also briefly explained help the Partners.

We often have trainee Gps working with us throughout their training so please give them a warm welcome.

  • Please be aware that there is a charge for non NHS private letters

  • If you need a duplicate sick note or print out of a letter, there will be a charge of a £1

  • Please ask at reception who your named Gp is if you don't already know. 

  • If you are aged 40 -47 you are entitled to a free NHS Health check. Please enquire at reception for more information.

  • Please use the checking in machine if you have an appointment. When you check in, you will be asked a few questions, please answer if you can but if not please skip them. 

  • If you are over 75 more time will be allowed for you to see the clinican of your choice at the practice.
